Hotel Universal, Santiago de Compostela

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were spotless and quite warm, but the close proximity to the neighboring room's bathroom was a bit uncomfortable. On the plus side, there were windows that could be opened, big mirrors, a bidet in the bathroom, and convenient grocery stores and patisseries nearby.

The hotel rooms were really nice and clean, although situated right next to the elevator shaft on the 6th floor. They were fine for us but lacked attention to detail, likely reflective of a 2-star hotel. The service was very kind and helpful overall, despite some moments of abruptness from a few staff members. The location was very good, central to everything and convenient with parking across the street. The dining experience was okay, with a well-organized setup but limited options and somewhat expensive. The facilities were basic but functional.
